Constantine Voyages runs GoldStar Coffee (www.goldstarcoffee.com). Based in Toronto, the firm buys, roasts, and ships coffee to better restaurants, hotels, and also consumers. Constantine Voyages tells the Financial Post what motivated him to become an entrepreneur.  

How it starts: “Fresh out of college, I joined with a friend to run a coffee company. The partnership didn’t last, but I stayed in the business, loving the freedom of being my own boss.”  

Astonishing reach: “Early on, I was on the Internet, posting bulletins, hoping to get a higher local profile. Instead, major coffee companies from around the world began to contact me. It was amazing!”  

Jolting fresh: “As small or large orders arrive, we roast the beans, seal them fresh, and ship immediately by UPS or Canada Post. We delivery anywhere in North America , including military bases. We’re flexible, creating customized blends, even private labels, depending on the order.”  

Gold star rising: “Selling online reduces overhead. Recently, we’ve launched a strong promotion on eBay, offering premium coffee at substantially lower prices, and business has soared!”  

Commitment: “It’s great to see so many people giving our coffee and service rave reviews on eBay. It makes me feel proud.”
